Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil, for cooking

Burger buns

Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayonnaise

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well-incorporated.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Ensure they are compact to prevent breaking while cooking.

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.

Once hot, add the chicken patties to the pan. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

During the last minute of cooking, you can place a slice of extra white cheddar cheese on each burger and cover the pan to melt the cheese.

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked chicken patty on the bottom half of the bun. Add optional toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a dollop of mayonnaise.

Place the top half of the bun over the assembled burger and serve with your favorite side!
