Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

2 cups frozen french fries

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 cup guacamole (for serving)

½ cup sour cream (for serving)

¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the French Fries: Begin by preheating your oven and cooking the frozen french fries according to package instructions until they’re crispy and golden. Set aside.

Prepare the Steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sliced flank steak with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook, stirring often, for about 5-7 minutes or until it’s browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Burritos: Place a large flour tortilla on a clean surface. Spread a handful of crispy french fries in the center, followed by a generous portion of the cooked steak, and then sprinkle both the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.

Wrap the Burrito: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to enclose the filling. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Grill the Burritos: In the same skillet used for the steak, add a little more olive oil if necessary, and place the burritos seam-side down. Grill on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortillas are crispy and golden, and the cheese is melted.

Serve: Remove the burritos from the skillet and cut them in half. Serve hot, garnished with cilantro and jalapeño slices if using. Pair with guacamole and sour cream for dipping.
