Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 pinch of sea salt

2 tablespoons honey

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Peaches: Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half and remove the pit. If desired, you can peel them, but leaving the skin on adds a nice texture.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Allow it to bubble slightly before moving to the next step.

Brown the Peaches: Add the peach halves, cut side down, to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until caramelized and golden brown.

Add Flavor: Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt over the peaches. Gently lift the peaches to allow the sugar to caramelize underneath them. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and forms a syrup.

Glaze Them: Drizzle the honey over the peaches and gently toss them to coat. Cook for another minute to let the honey meld with the caramelized sugar.

Serve: Carefully plate the warm peaches and drizzle any remaining syrup from the pan over them. If desired, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
