Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface. Press the seams together to create a solid sheet.

Cut into triangles: Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into triangles as per the pre-marked lines.

Add the fillings: Place about a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle a pinch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the fillings.

Roll it up: Starting from the wide end, gently roll up each triangle towards the point to form a crescent shape, ensuring the filling stays inside.

Prepare for baking: Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
