12 large pasta shells

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Pasta Shells: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

      Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.

        Stuff the Shells: Using a spoon, carefully stuff each cooked pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta filling. Place the stuffed shells in a baking dish.

          Add the Marinara Sauce: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, ensuring they are well coated.

            Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the marinara sauce.

              Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

                Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm and enjoy your healthy veggie dinner!
