Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet, skinless and boneless, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon Bites: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently toss the salmon cubes in the flour mixture until evenly coated.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and ginger. Set aside.

Fry the Salmon: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated salmon cubes in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

Glaze the Salmon Bites: Once all the salmon bites are cooked, pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Bring to a simmer, and let it thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes. Add the crispy salmon bites back into the skillet and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.

Serve: Transfer the honey garlic salmon bites to a serving platter, garnish with freshly chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Enjoy your deliciously crispy and flavorful dish!
