Ingredients

1 lb flank steak (or your preferred cut of steak)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 cups cooked jasmine rice (or quinoa for a healthier option)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup corn (fresh or canned)

1 avocado, sliced

1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup fresh spinach or mixed greens

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Add the flank steak, ensuring it’s well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Cook the Steak: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (or longer if desired). Use a meat thermometer to ensure it's at your preferred doneness (130°F for medium-rare). Once cooked, let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Prepare the Bowl: While the steak is resting, prepare your bowl ingredients. In a large serving bowl, start with a base of cooked jasmine rice or quinoa.

Build the Bowl: Layer on the fresh spinach or mixed greens, followed by cherry tomatoes, corn, black beans, and slices of avocado.

Slice & Serve: Slice the rested steak against the grain into thin strips and arrange over the top of the bowl. Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and drizzle with lime juice. Season with salt to taste, adding more lime if desired.

Enjoy: Serve immediately, allowing everyone to mix and match their toppings as they dig in!
