4 cups fresh spinach, packed

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup toasted pine nuts (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish
